Incorporated in Singapore on 12 December
2003, Medi-Flex Limited is the first
cleanroom and medical disposal glove
manufacturer to be listed on the SGX in
November 2004.
Based in Malaysia, our origins can be
tracked back to April 1999 when we commenced
production of disposable medical examination
gloves. By 2000, Medi-Flex switched its
focus to manufacture specialty gloves,
particularly for cleanroom usage. engaging
in a partnership with US-based company
called Techniglove
International. Our full-scale commercial
production of disposable cleanroom gloves
began in June 2001.
On 15 March 2007, the company announced the
completion of the private placement of new
Medi-Flex Shares to Top Glove Sdn Bhd ("TGSB")
and 2 other investors. TGSB is a
wholly-owned subsidiary of Top Glove
Corporation Berhad, a company listed on the
main board of Bursa Malaysia. With the
completion of the placement TGSB becomes the
largest shareholders in Medi-Flex Limited
thus making it a subsidiary of TGSB. The
total numbers of shares in issue is
500,000,000 shares.
To date, Medi-Flex has a annual installed
production capacity of 1.6 billion gloves
per annum with operations in its Banting and
Klang factories in Malaysia. |
